I’m Nicholas, a 23-year-old programmer from Arkansas.
I’ve been writing code for over 10 years, primarily within the Roblox ecosystem. I like to work on gameplay code, UI code, and tooling.
I am proficient in both Luau and JavaScript (ES6), and I am familiar with tools like Rojo and Git, and with popular libraries like React and Jecs. I usually work in Visual Studio Code, but I don’t mind working entirely in Roblox Studio.
Projects
Mortal Coil is a puzzle game/programming challenge in which, given a grid with both open and closed spaces, the goal is to visit each open space once without crossing your path. You can start in any open space and move in any non-obstructed direction, but once you move, you must keep going in that direction until you hit an obstruction.

Wrote the gameplay logic for an unrealized zombie game, including third-person weapons and zombie/NPC AI, utilizing Matter and React for gameplay and UI code respectively.
Simple Figma mockups for one of several avatar editors I have been asked to create. I didn’t end up implementing this one, in large part because flex layouts didn’t exist at the time.
